Katy Perry: Part of Me (2012)
While I am certainly not an uberfan, I guess I would consider myself a KatyCat, especially now. I really love Katy Perry's image, style, and music, and after I introduced her music to my family on a 4 hour car ride to Walt Disney World, they all love her too. So, it was no surprise that yesterday we all went to the movie theater and saw her concert movie/ (auto)biography/ documentary. We all had a blast! I definitely recommend going to see it. If you don't like Katy Perry, I'm not sure you would enjoy it though. But if you do, it's a really good movie. I learned quite a bit about her, and the concert scenes were so much fun. It's great in 3D also! I so want her stylists now! ^^

Mermaid Melody
Despite the fact that this is the only anime I've ever watched (subbed, of course! I speak NO Japanese), this is my favorite anime! =^^=
It's a perfect mix of cuteness, young love, singing, mermaids, magic, innocence, laughs, and happiness. I seriously recommend it if you've ever been curious about watching an anime but didn't know where to start. Plus they're all free to watch on YouTube and subbed as well. I really (and you probably will too) like the main character, Luchia, and really root for her. If you like cute things (if you don't, how the heck did you end up here?) I'd say give it a try!
(This is the first part of the first episode!)
It really is similar to the Hans Christian Andersen classic The Little Mermaid. Again, it may start out a little slow, but I say this is a gem. And the music is pretty good too! Pitchi pitchi voice live start!! ^^

The Lizzie Bennet Diares
Brave (2012)
Have you guys seen Disney Pixar's new movie Brave? If so, what did you think? I'm not going to ruin the plot, because turns out, this is one of the rare times where the preview actually gives very little of the plot away. But on the other hand, since the preview omits the major storyline, what the preview does show implies a very different movie. But I loved it, and was pleasantly surprised.
Still though, I thought it was just a liiiittle lackluster, and in hindsight, I'm not really sure if the title is appropriate. Merida isn't that brave. She wants to change her fate instead of dealing with it. She's brave in the learning to apologize and grow up sort of way, but I don't think bravery was the overlying theme. But the animation is beautiful, as is the soundtrack, and the Scottish accents too for crying out loud. I think I'm going to buy the soundtrack now actually. And that hair? Holy hair gods, wow.
I definitely recommend seeing it. I sure really liked it. Also, the short before the movie (Disney always puts out the best shorts, and this one is no exception), "La Luna," was beautiful.
So.....are yeh brraive enough to chenge yer feht? ^^
No Time Like Teatime!
Latest obsession <3. I'm just going to come out and say it, "I'm a teaholic!" But not tea bags, I'm talking about loose tea, the good stuff. I drink at least two pots a day. I love how relaxing it is. I know it's a little unorthodox, but the yummiest thing is english breakfast tea with a splash of french vanilla coffee mate. So delicious it should be illegal!
I really like Teavana tea. It's so fun going into the store and really experiencing the aromas and how relaxing it is. Also, I strongly recommend investing in not only the tea, but also the large Perfect Tea Maker. I suppose if you were only making a mug, you could get the smaller size, but since I make pots of tea, the large 32 ounce size is perfect. And it also works just fine if I'm only making a mug. ^^
My favorite Teavana brew at the moment is something that is perfect for summer, but it's so yummy I'll probably drink it all year long. It's a blend of Peach Tranquility Herbal Tea and Jasmine Dragon Phoenix Pearls Green Tea. So yummy! It's sweet and floral, and with a little bit of truvia, it's delicious. They have this blend for sample in the store now too, so you can try it for yourself!
Vinylmation: 25th Anniversary Series
Aren't they so cute? I managed to snag Mickey, Eeyore, and Rapunzel (the one that I really wanted, but never thought I'd get) when I was at the epic awesomeness that is the Disney store in Times Square, NYC. I literally spent hours there with a friend. It's like getting my WDW fix. That place is so much fun! Anyway, I love this collection- it's my favorite one so far. I was so excited to see that they've come out with a princess vinyl and that she looks really cute. If you can't get your butt to a Disney store, you can always buy one blind online.
